Ingredients:

  • 1 medium – chopped Onion
  • 2 tablespoons – Oil
  • 1 package – Okra [10 oz.]
  • 1 cup – Tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon – Pepper

Directions:

  1. Cook onion in fat in saucepan over moderate heat until lightly browned.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and cook until okra is tender and mixture thickens, 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
