Ingredients:

  • 1 pound – mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons – margarine
  • 1/4 cup – chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup – chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup – bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon – salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon – pepper
  • 1 tablespoon – margarine

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350. Remove stems from mushrooms. Finely chop enough stems to measure 1/3 cup.
    Heat 2 Tablespoons margarine in skillet over medium heat. Cook chopped stems, onion, pepper, about 4 minutes.
    Stir in bread crumbs and spices.
  2. Heat 1 Tablespoon margarine in shallow baking pan until melted. Fill mushroom caps with mixture. Place
    mushrooms filled side up in pan. Bake 15 minutes. Serve hot.
